One barcode per size and colour
Each size and colour is its own item under the style's group. The till scans the tag, stock counts per size, reports roll up by group. Bulk import loads a range.
Tags printed in-store
Labels with name, barcode, price and MRP from Retail Desktop or the PDT, with configurable size and copies. Tag a delivery at the back door.
Returns and exchanges against the bill
A return is recorded against its invoice as a sales return and credit note; an exchange is a return plus a new sale. Nothing returns that was not sold.
Stock between branches
Cross-branch inquiry shows which store still has the medium. A stock request becomes a warehouse transfer the branch confirms on receipt.
Price lists and markdowns
Price lists and groups with MRP and discounts. A season markdown is a bulk price update; a below-cost report shows where it went too far.
Online store on the same stock
Choose items, add photos and categories. Orders from the Shopper app or WhatsApp are fulfilled from the nearest branch's stock.
GST on every line, from the item.
Garments and footwear carry different GST rates by value band; the rate sits on each item, so a mixed basket bills correctly. GST input/output summaries support filing; MaximPro does not file returns or generate e-invoices. GST details.

Does MaximPro have a size and colour matrix?
No. Each size and colour is its own item with its own barcode, grouped under the style. Bulk import and bulk update make a large range practical. We say this plainly before the demo.
How are exchanges handled?
As a sales return against the original invoice followed by a new sale, with a credit note settling any difference.
Can a branch see stock at another branch?
Yes. Cross-branch inventory inquiry in the Cloud Portal shows quantities at other locations; moving stock goes through a request and transfer with approval, dispatch and receipt.
How do end-of-season markdowns work?
Price lists and bulk price updates on the item master, plus sales offers for time-boxed promotions. There is no automatic markdown schedule.
