Questions retailers ask us
Does each till keep working if the internet goes down?
Yes. Retail Desktop runs on a Windows PC with a local SQL Server database, so billing, returns and receipts continue. MaximOps handhelds also work offline and upload drafts later.
How many checkout counters can one hypermarket run?
Cloud tiers include one to three tills with extra tills per month; the Enterprise tier has unlimited tills. There is no fixed cap in the product.
Can we sell fruit, vegetables and deli by weight?
Yes, through weighing-barcode formats. Your scale prints the barcode; Retail Desktop reads it at billing. The product does not drive a scale over a cable.
Is VIZO361 video analytics included?
No. Footfall, employee insights and smart alerts appear in the portal where VIZO361 cameras are configured, quoted per camera as an add-on.
